Virus Lentin.G

Lentin.G es un gusano que se propaga a través del correo electrónico en un mensaje escrito en inglés que tiene un archivo adjunto de doble extensión.

Lentin.G termina procesos correspondientes a programas antivirus y firewalls, entre otros. Esto deja al ordenador afectado vulnerable frente al ataque de otros malware.

Lentin.G es difícil de reconocer, puesto que el mensaje de correo en el que llega al ordenador es variable.

  Tiene un nombre variable. Presenta una doble extensión, la primera de las cuales puede ser PDF, GIF, JPG o DOC. La segunda extensión es siempre SCR, para hacer creer al usuario que se trata de un salvapantallas.

Una vez ha sido ejecutado, Lentin.G no muestra ningún mensaje o aviso que alerte sobre su presencia.
